Cardboard Furniture Workshop at the Manchester Metropolitan University

In March 2020 I collaborated with artist Maisie Pritchard to deliver a workshop with first year fine art students at MMU. We delivered a talk discussing our projects and our ideas around social practice and useful art. Then we got them to work together to make some constructivist chairs using cardboard. The originals were designed by A.P. Ermolaev, in 1970’s Soviet Russia. They can be assembled without fixtures or hand tools.
